Douglas Trumbull, director of Silent Running and Special Effects Supervisor for 2001: A Space Odyssey, is readying a documentary about his time with Stanley Kubrick. The detail in this undertaking is amazing. The filmmakers are literally crawling into never-before-seen-images. [/youtube]

I would love to see those old pictures. I absolutely love this movie (liked the book), and I watch it periodically and probably always will. I'd be wary of a total breakdown doc like this tho, because, why dissect the Mona Lisa? Don't think I want to see someone pull back the curtain on this one.
