KnivesOut is correct, yet keep in mind that "clean coal" does next to nothing to reduce the amount of CO2 released from coal combustion. It also does nothing about the dangers of mining coal, as mentioned by Sagemind, and does nothing about reducing the contamination of the environment via mining.

We're (blahpook + me) about 4 hours inland in North Carolina and we were spared from the large majority of the storm. It's a bit windy now and was all throughout the day today, but with only a few sprinkles of rain, it seems that we got away mostly clean. It must've just skimmed North, because I've heard that SE Virginia is flooded with school closures through Wednesday.

The adults who go to this thing and believe all this crap, fine, they're misinformed and poorly educated. But dragging the kids along? Oh man oh man. What a disservice to those poor minds. They will definitely have problems growing up when they attempt to rationalize their false beliefs versus what they witness in the real world...

...and that is sad.

Here's a thought: Which is worse, taking a child to this museum and telling them that this is true, or not schooling your child at all? Because one of those is illegal and in my opinion, it's the wrong one.
