Fox Attacks: Bloggers

zeth_rb says...

I upvoted because I have as much respect for Foxnews, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, The New York Times, New York Post, Washington Post, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, Reuters, etc. as I do for bloggers, lots of sh!t and little truth. Oh my, they attacked bloggers, and bloggers would never attack news stations of any kind, NO! They attack bloggers and bloggers attack news stations, of course they don't like each other! (Please feel free to add to the list of news stations, networks, bloggers, foroums, and other such news hubs, I'd like to know what you do or don't trust.) Oh I trust almost every government in the world except for North Korea and The Church of Scientology because they would never tell us anything untrue . Corporations, Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations, that go after the governments and corporations. You get the point.

Everyone has an agenda, everyone.

Oh yeah everything Foxnews said was true and false. Just as everything bloggers say is true and false.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks about high gas prices

zeth_rb says...

Huh,

Gas should be $5 dollars a gallon if it had followed inflation rates like everything else.

Gas prices were held low by tapping into the national reserve during the late 90's

There hasn't been a new refinery in over twenty years because of the amount of regulations to build one is insane. So instead we import over half our oil.

China has become a major competitor for oil for the US, the first time any nation has been a major competitor to the US for Middle East Oil and there just isn't enough.

We use 2/3 of the energy produced in the world but only have a population of 300 million, maybe we deserve gas this high ever hear of that?

Gas prices in Europe aren't higher they just add on a larger tax to discourage people from using automobiles instead they use public transportation.

Funny story I remember economists saying a year before gas prices started spiking that they would be going up to 3 dollars this was still when it was in the 1.50 to 1.80 range.

Yeah there making record profits and guess what people aren't decreasing their gas consumption instead it is still going up.

And yes we do have the technology to make cars have better gas mileage.

Also in conspiracy world why is the car industry trying not to go bankrupt while gas companies profits are going up?

I had a friend go to China last year and all the thing that always came to mind afterwards when asked about it was they would always say: "God bless America"

Funny thing is when they were traveling as a student group and their was a list, A LIST of things they waeren't allowed to talk about while they were there, not even talk about. I could go on but it gets me real mad to think how much is taken for granted here in America the personal freedoms we have.

Faux News memo shows how they slant the news

zeth_rb says...

Lol, wait, wait, Msnbc says this and so it makes it completely reliable but don't worry Foxnews has probably said the same thing about Msnbc so it has to be completely reliable.

I don't want to get into the debate of who's honest or dishonest but on political polarization. Mushrooms antic names aside most major Television News Companies do tend to lean to the left (I don't know about newspapers), how much depends on the company.

And PLEASE! PLEASE! If your getting your news from Olbermann or O'Reilly please stop. They are both just trying to sell you what you want to hear.

Smash My PS3 (or How to stir and already boiling pot)

zeth_rb says...

I am going to say that the fact people are willing to pay $600 dollars for a gaming computer is just sad. Worse is the ones who will pay more than that. Its just a machine wait a year until price goes down (hopefully) and fixed the bugs.
Me personally I'm cheap I haven't bought a PS2 or an XBOX yet because I still think at 125 for a PS2 is still too expensive.
