Actually the battery is in the chassis between the wheels below where you would normally sit in the vehicle. That tesla is on fire in the front, where the "frunk" would be. I would imagine something inside the frunk caught fire, and this has nothing to do with the actual power source as the electric motor is in the back end of the car.
