Alleged Bullying of Girl with Cerebral Palsy
The internet is always good at public shaming. I look forward to a sob story on how his life was destroyed.
Black and Gay can be tough. But the Love is the Same
The first few seconds I was tempted to skip the video. Seeing Macklemore in the description made me stick around.
Media Have Become an "Enemy of the American People"
>> ^Reefie:
I agree with the principle of his warning. To say that it has become a major concern in the last two weeks is grossly inaccurate, there have been numerous events in the last decade that have not been spotlighted by the media because they have loyalties to a political agenda, or to business customers.
Everyone has their tipping point. I guess he found his in the last 2 weeks.

NIKE sold you a dream and made you a consumer
They would put it on the radio if it sells. Oh the irony.

I would like more of this on the radio instead of another electo-pop song.
Yeah, anti-commercial anything on a commercial radio station? Never happen. The music industry is built on commercialization, hell the whole world is founded on it now. All so some CEO can have another pair of Lear jets.

So... I thought that was kinda badly done really.
If this wasn't on the sift I wouldn't have bothered watching for longer than a few seconds. The initial portion did not grab me in any way. I didn't know why I should care about the conference I was watching.
And then it was the usual heavy handed demonstration of over the top reaction to copyright infringement.
This doesn't really do anything to bolster the cause. It's been done before and better in the past.
If you're trying to get some message across on the internet, you really do have to have something to initially grab people's interest. It doesn't mean everything has to be quick fire boobs and kittens, but just something at the beginning to make me have any reason to watch further. Over a minute spent at the beginning with a boring mock press conference does not make me want to sit around any longer.
And then I did, and was treated to a mundane story. If you're going to actually get off your arses and spend the time to properly produce a nicely shot video... spend SOME time up front creating a worthwhile script that people will actually want to watch
Hey that's great, what did you do today?
Why You Should Never Celebrate Too Soon
Well, the question is does the coach's face make it transformative?
God I have been way too into copyright law. Thanks SOPA!
