Tuvan throat singers on a frozen river in Siberia
So, what exactly is 'throat singing' then? Basically, it involves overtones that are heard in new music, applied to voices. Höömeï is the name applied to it though it is really only one of three or four styles also including sygyt and kargyraa. You hear a deep humming groan, mixed with a high pitched whistling sound.

The world's longest train (2:16)
Quboid, it is not dangerous anymore. When I was there there are three trains doing that route daily. Only one of them has a passenger carriage, but all have the control cars.
Obviously you can ride in the ore cars, it is free but dirty.
The world's longest train (2:16)
Hey! I rode on this one! It goes from Noadhibu to Choum in Mauritania, it takes about 12 hours. It carries iron ore from the iron mine to the sea, and it only has one passenger carriage.
But it seems this one has no passenger carriage, only two control corriages at the end.
