Space Shuttle from launch to SRB separation
(oooops .... accidental upvote .... I thought I was clicking for Tim Burton's Halloween clip)
For the record, I do not support the space shuttle missions. The entire program is too expensive for the meager info resulting. Why are we wasting so much public funds and other resources to play this ridiculous
Who Left This Hole in the Ground, Mr. President? (8:45)
Wumpus and tedbater must feel very lonely.

Legendary Billie Holiday - "Fine and Mellow" .....sigh
DYNOMITE!
What an amazing ALL-STAR lineup of legendary jazz greats.
interesting side note: While many people assume that the song "Strange Fruit" was written by Holiday herself, it actually began as a poem by Abel Meeropol, a Jewish schoolteacher and union activist from the Bronx who later set it to music. Disturbed by a photograph of a lynching, the teacher wrote the stark verse and brooding melody under the pseudonym Lewis Allan in the late 1930s. Meeropol and his wife Anne are also notable because they adopted Robert and Michael Rosenberg, the orphaned children of the executed communists Julius and Ethel Rosenberg.
Thanks swampgirl.

Osama Bin Forgotten !
Theoretically, when a murderer masterminds a crime, he/she is sought by law enforcement agents, captured while still being assumed innocent, tried in a fair court, and the FACTS presented to a jury of peers determines guilt or innocence of the accused crime.
It is now FIVE YEARS after the horrific crime of 09/11/01 was committed …..please take a moment now to reflect on what the U.S. government has accomplished in its efforts to bring justice for this crime.
The largest, most powerful, most funded agencies in the history of the planet have NOTHING to show today, except a continuous string of FAILURE after failure after failure.
Bbbbbillions of our tax dollars wasted…...precious lives of good-hearted brave young men and women wasted…….the reputation, meaningfulness, and heart and soul of a once great nation wasted……the future for the next generations wasted………..
Incompetence, injustice, crimes against humanity, misery, death, suffering ……this is the legacy of King George and his faithful blind followers.
seek truth.
Helis + AC/DC + Explosions
Your concern is touching, pho3n1x, but what do you think these terror machines are created to do?
Bring "democracy" to people who don't realize how much they really need it?
How to lose your job in 28 seconds.
Unfortunately, the title of this post "How To Lose Your Job...." doesn't reflect the actual actions in this instance.
According to the msnbc story that LadyBug linked to... Mike-the idiot dispatcher-only received a scolding, while his boss said that NEXT time would result in termination.
I never cease to be amazed by the idiocy and incompetance too often exhibited by the police. UGH!
Camille "Au Port" Music Video
Camille is an incredible vocalist. I first heard her about a year ago - her stylings and arrangements are very fresh and creative. I wish I understood French, but I still enjoy her music.
