Yeah I found this momentarily after posting that, but it doesn't show a close-up like in the intro to this video. Regardless, it just tends to shed some doubt on the honesty of this whole ad campaign. "Hey let's show this crowbar and make it look like we actually tried to blend one," and they even avoided doing it for that video.
I mean, sure, obviously it won't blend a crowbar, but then why have misleading shit like that? Why claim these magnets are really hard when in fact they're not? What else am I going to find that's questionable about this company's claims if I go looking?
Meh.

Who knows what happened. Unless we can ask the people in the video what their intention was, there is no way of knowing if this was a prank or a genuine attempt to capture a giggle on 'film' for posterity.


I say this as a new father of a 4 month old boy that is just now starting to consciously giggle, instead of just in his sleep, and it's like crack.

I too have tried something that has proven to produce a giggle, and the mere presence of the camera (or some equally arbitrary difference) has ruined the effect to the tune of a full 30 seconds of all-out crying. (30 seconds feels like a lifetime in those moments)

Who knows what goes on in a child's mind, especially when they are unable to articulate it fully. Crying is the most common form of expression.
"I'm hungry", "I'm gassy", "My diaper is full", "I had a bad dream", "Who's that?", are pretty much all expressed as crying.

I'm just saying... Who knows what happened there. But it's interesting to see which people jump on which side of the argument, in the presence of little to no facts.

I really didn't see anyone being endangered...

Now, the 500 16-year-olds that might try to copycat this, sure...

hand-eye coordination and rhythm. it also probably helps get your body used to being in an arms-up guard position for extended periods of time.

the cracks are chrome trim, and that center section sounds awfully hollow when he knocks on it at the end there...

also, there seems to be another piece of chrome trim following his position "in" the table when viewed from the side.

but.... i don't want to know how he did it, cause it looks pretty awesome.
