Legend of Zelda Medley: String Quartet

Upvote for Underworld music, I wish they had played more of it. All in all, the original Zelda themes are still some of my favorite pieces of video game music.

Leslie Nielson's post-"Naked Gun" career is proof that both he and the filmmakers he worked with had no clue as to why he was funny in "Airplane", this show, and, to lesser extent, the "Naked Gun" movies.

Well, I didn't use the word impressive in the title, so you can't really accuse me of false advertising. Besides, as most of my ex's will tell you, it's hard to be impressive in 21 seconds.

Local carpet ad - seriously - I had to watch this growing up

Local furniture store commercials are the best. We had one here in B'ham where the guy, who always did his own commercials, actually apologized about his bad employees during one: "I'm really sorry about that ya'll.", he told us. Perhaps if we find enough of them we can ask for localfurniturestorecommercial.videosift.com to be a new sub-domain.

Quboid,

As a semi-fundamentalist Christian I could probably make some kind of counter argument. But it would a) be very long , b) be very dull, and c) be likely uninspiring or unconvincing to anyone outside the church and possibly even to me as well, even though I am interested in and have tried to study theology non-formally. Needless to say, I don't things are quite as black and white as you do on this matter. Which is why the video was interesting to me, and why I posted it here.

Juliette Lewis sings "Hardly Wait", from "Strange Days"

Agreed, farhad. Even though the movie feels a little dated now, as it is set in the "futuristic" year of 1999, I still think it is one of the great overlooked sci-fi films of the past 20 years or so, along with one of my other favorites that no one else seems to like, Dark City.

I think the announcer's statements were possibly the most disturbing thing about this video, for me anyway. Seeing football players get worked up and then getting into a fight is bad but not that shocking given the excitement level on the field, but hearing the announcer say that he wanted to take the elevator down and join in was just despicable.

I apologize for the plethora of movie scenes that I have submitted right out of the box. I just recently did a "movie scene mix tape" on my blog (see here) based on a similar list I saw at Pajiba, and so I been searching for a lot of movie clips lately.

I had a picture of Ms Madsen from some "50 Most Beautiful People" issue of some magazine from the late 80's or so. I won't go into graphic detail, but let's just say that I was about 14 or so and I *really* liked this picture. What's amazing to me is that, if anything, she has grown more beautiful and sexy as she has grown older.
