It's looks like propane or natural gas tanks, and that's the safest place for them. If the tanks leak, or explode like in this video, the gas/explosion is outside the bus and goes up. If the tanks were in or under the bus and exploded, well you'd have shrapnel in your ass.

How were they even allowed to fly? I'm not familiar with aviation laws in Canada, but in the US, a working fuel gauge is required (14 CFR 23.1337b). I can't believe the pilot's were given an award for causing an avoidable accident. It doesn't matter that the ground crew improperly fueled the plane, it is always the pilot's responsibility to verify that the plane is airworthy before takeoff.

Eeven if you had super-human hearing and could not only hear the ping across a loud battlefield, but could pinpoint it's direction and distance, and the guy was not smart enough to take cover to re-load, if you decide to pop up thinking you can get an easy kill, his buddies with him will happily fill you full of lead.

Same here. I heard it when I first saw the clip a while back, and the first few times they played it in this clip. Toward the end, I no longer heard it though.

I should watch it as the film makers intended. Do film makers intend to make me sick? I literally feel nauseous when watch movies on a big screen in the theater at 24fps. It's not as bad on TV's though. It's one of the reasons I don't go to theaters.
