Mariko Takahashi's Fitness Video
It's a word-for-word parody of Susan Powter's first workout video, featuring poodles and a crazy poodle-woman. Absolutely surreal. As reported by Ant, it was made by Nagi Noda for Panasonic. It was part of 10 films they made for the 2004 Athens Olympics.

BrightCoop EZ Catch Chicken Harvester (silent)
Behold the E-Z Catch Chicken Harvester. Once upon a time, chicken farmers had to spend hours running around manually grabbing chickens and stuffing them into coops. So a company called BrightCoop has invented what is essentially a vacuum for chickens -- it has rotating circular sweeps, much like the ones you see on street-cleaning machines, that automatically gather up the chickens and hoover them into pens.
Darwin Awards for this guy's apartment
Ever notice how similar a small bottle of earwax disolving acid and eye drops appear - especially when you have something in your eye? My advice, don't keep both in the same place in the bathroom. And the shower makes a good emergency eye wash station.
Tim Tom - Romain Segaud & Christel Pougeoise (5:00)
One of the highlights of SIGGRAPH 2003 (July 27-31) is the screening of Tim Tom, the Jury Award-winning student film, directed by Christel Pougeoise and Romain Seguad, former students at Supinfocom in Valenciennes, France.

Fast Film - Origami mashup movie (13:38)
From BoingBoing - The visuals were achieved by printing out thousands of film frames (over 65,000 to be exact) and folding them into three-dimensional shapes. The paper-objects were then photographed and composited in After Effects.... The film is unlikely to ever find release in the US due to the fact that it uses unlicensed imagery from over 300 live-action features. But don't let that stop you from enjoying it online.
