Superman vs. Doomsday
I like the battle as envisioned here for what it's worth, which in my opinion is not much. Doomsday was a poorly thought out concept to draw big sales for the "Death of Superman" I was sorely disappointed in the comic book story as there are a number of heroes in the DC universe, including Superman, capable of defeating such a basic juggernaut as Doomsday. Nowhere near the best writing offered in the comic book industry.
Wow. Geek-out moment.

Penn & Teller: Bullshit -- Intelligent Design
One ancient Hawaiian myth suggests that Maui, a demi-god living underground, found a crack leading to the surface of the earth and being constantly horny, he stuck his penis through it. An ancient goddess walking past saw the penis sticking out of the ground, had sex with it, and gave birth to the human race. I say we teach that one in class. It could double with the abstinence lecture.
Honestly, what would the ID lecture be like anyway? "OK class, our first theory on how we all came to be here: God did it. How do we know? The Bible says so. OK...that's about all we have on that one. Now on to evolution."
Personally, I went to a public high school, and we studied the Bible...in English class as literature where it belongs (right after we studied Greek mythology).
Genghis Blues - Tuvan Throat Singing
A clip from the documentary Genghis Blues. Paul Pena (1950-2005) was a blind blues musician best known for writing the Steve Miller hit "Jet Airliner". After hearing Tuvan throat singing on the radio, Pena taught himself to sing in the Tuvan style, and also taught himself the Tuvan language. Since there are no Tuva to English dictionaries, Pena translated from Tuvan to Russian, and then Russian to English. "Genghis Blues" follows Pena on a trip to visit Tuva. On his visit, the Tuvans nicknamed Pena "Earthquake" because he could sing so low that he "made the ground shake"
Barack Obama on Conan
They mention that W. refers to him as "Bama" or "Rock"...Hmmm. Bama Rock. Bama Rock. Bomb Iraq. A-ha! Obama is at fault for us going to war!
Dude...That's my MOM
While waiting for the Batdance video above to load, I clicked on the Xenadrine ad. Oddly, it synched up in a Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd kind of way where you hear the Joker say "Ooh, we got a live one here" just as the mom bends over in the foyer.
Original 60's George of the Jungle!
Anybody else notice the similarities between George of the Jungle and Bruce Campbell?
Ronald McDonald Kicks Ass
I believe that's Jackie Chan singing.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow (What a Wonderful World)
The most used song in movies and tv. Israel Kamamkawiwo'ole was possibly the greatest Hawaiian musician of this generation.
Autopsy Prank (0:50)
Assuming this is a real corpse, this video is incredibly disrepectful. 1st, by doing the prank. 2nd, for showing this guys face on the internet. I hope his family never sees this.
That firefighter got fired for filming himself riding in a dryer. These morons deserve to be kicked out of med school at the very least.
I recommend reading Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, by Mary Roach to see what really happens to those who donate their bodies to science.
