Its easy to make a robot to do a particular task but the point of Asimo is that everything is integrated, so there is a lot of stuff that needs to be put in there. Its not surprising that we haven't got further considering the difficulty of emulating human motions. Running is especially difficult because without any feet on the ground you have to judge your balance much more carefully. Its a natural instinct for us but it is much more difficult to program a robot to do all of that.

The time isn't exactly horrific; the game is just badly made to require so many scene changes.

So this one moment of poor comedy means the entire show is rubbish? This is a perfect example of why personal vendettas are so tiring.

I think it is just *low* recoil. Each individual projectile may be of low mass, so you fire a burst of them in order to achieve the same effect. At 3:53 they show what the actual weapons does. Looks to me like those holes are only 1-2mm across.
