As far as I can tell, what he means is that we should amend the constitution to ban gay marriage, sodomy, abortion, etc rather than try to amend the bible to allow for these things. He firmly believes that the bible trumps the constitution as do his supporters.

This guy doesn't bother me (he's a pastor, what did you expect?). What bothers me is how far the (un)religious right(wrong) have infected the Republican party. What happened to the Goldwaters?

As you can see, Paul gets trounced and guys like this win primaries. It's a good thing there are a couple of more rational 'pubs around or this guy might actually have a shot. It's worrisome.
