"You little bitch, I'll murder you!"
Are You a Psychopath? Take the Test
They could change the problem slightly, and make it more realistic:
A train is headed down a track. Some way down the track are five people who will be run over by the train before the driver has the time to both spot them and stop the train. You're standing on a bridge above that track along with another person. You could push that person off the bridge, and down onto the track, making the driver of the train spot the person you pushed just as he gets run over, and hit the brakes in plenty of time to prevent the brutal deaths of the five people further down the track. (This is, of course, assuming the train driver isn't an asshole who just keeps on going after he's knowingly run someone over).

This is why you don't give driving lessons in a car without a second set of brake pedals on the passenger side.

@lucky760 I've watched this several times now, and still can't see any child in this video. Unless you mean the black dude, whose face can be seen in profile behind the white dude?
Woman pulls porcupine quills from raven's face
I'm guessing it's got some genetic trait that reduces its ability to feel fear, explaining both why it would get up close and personal with a porcupine, and why it would be unafraid of humans.
Norm McDonald Gets kicked out of Iowa
News article from back then: http://www.kevin-ho.com/Text/DI%20Archiv/archiv_DI_2macdonald.htm
"About 80 percent of the 1,300-person audience left during MacDonald's performance, said UI Men's Athletic Director Bob Bowlsby, who was among those who walked out."

Physicist Sean Carroll refutes supernatural beliefs
There is actually room for eternal life within certain interpretations of quantum mechanics. I refer to the article on Quantum suicide and immortality on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_suicide_and_immortality
Of course, this is highly speculative at best, and impossible to test in an objective manner. But given the many worlds interpretation, or an infinite universe with infinite variety, it is at least plausible (to some tiny extent) that, say, some advanced aliens could make maybe a robot or something with a randomized personaily and experience, and that that randomized person would match you exactly as you were when you died, "moving" your experience from your life over to that new life as a robot. Very fascinating. And completely irrelevant to everyday life.
Point is, life after death cannot be 100% ruled out (maybe 99%). That was the only part of the video I disagreed with.
Amy hears sound for the first time @ 26 years old.
Even if deafness can be "cured" with implants and stuff, there's the question of whether it should be cured for everyone. I know there are deaf communities that feel their culture and language are threatened by the increasing prevalence of implants. After all, why would anyone learn sign language if there are no deaf people, other than as a curiosity, or a secret language? Languages, after all, help bind cultures together.
Personally, I think we should give children every opportunity to live their lives unimpeded by disabilities, even if it means some people feel threatened, or it means the end of some communities. (Btw, I extend this view to screening for genetic disorders during early pregnancy, to allow parents to end the pregnancy should such a disorder be found. I know some parents who have children with Down's think this idea sounds horrid, but I'm of the firm opinion that we can't go around preserving various disabilities that have no advantageous traits just to keep from offending some people.)
