I have a hard time believing this is anything but a fiction derived by some scientist. While I would like to and do believe that such things exist, it seems to go against my (granted) model of the universe as expanding and therefore unlikely that black holes would cross paths with anything. I mean, the past of a black hole is a star itself, right? Unless the stars were in a "system" together it seems unlikely that the two should ever meet. And if they were in a "system" together wouldn't the formation of the one take out the other in the process? Does a black hole's position continue to expand with the rest of the universe or does it remain fixed where it formed? If it stays fixed, again, I could see where another system might pass by it. Still, on the whole, something we are unlikely to witness in our speck of existence in this universe, relatively speaking...

As someone who has raised pigs in my youth I know that they are very tidy animals who devote a small area of their pen to waste so it should be easy for someone to train a pig to use a litter box. This one seems awfully damn needy though (ours never were) and perhaps he is young enough to have imprinted on woman in the video.

I think that a mental addiction is just as real as a physical addiction and in a sense they are both the same. While a physical addiction affects the mind, a mental addiction affects it as well but perhaps without the physically disabling side effects. The video game addiction is clearly due to the break-up of the family as witnessed by the attempted suicide, this is just a different form of escape.
Oh yeah, the old man's schtick sounds like bullshit to me as well...

I just popped Blizzac snow tires on my Cooper S and was astounded at the driving performance difference. Not exactly in the same class as the Lamborghini, but... My car is also dumbed down with the traction control on... (sigh)
