There's actually an equation to determine how many times a sheet of paper can be folded in half. It all comes down to the size of the sheet, its thickness and how it is folded.

I tried this out with a friend the other night, works just as shown here... no surprise there!

We assumed in the end that the second boat is a point that the game refers to as a parent object, possibly to avoid people getting stuck in limbo between maps if the server is having problems; they'd just be dumped there during the loading screen. Sometimes you can see similar problems like this at peak times. There's a small chance that if you try to get into an instance of some kind and have a disconnect then (if you're Alliance) you'll be ported to the graveyard in Westfall, perhaps because that's a parent for the graveyard / resurrection mechanic.

This also worked for us on the Menethil -> Theramore and Menethil -> Valgarde boats, sending us to the same underground boat.

By the way, this can also be done to any hostile mob or player in Booty Bay so if you're on a PvP server just stay away from the boat!

Woah! I remember seeing this clip on TV years ago... pretty sure it was around 1991/'92, like it mentions at the start. Sunday afternoons I believe, but I have no idea what it was for, though I doubt it was an ad, since it was on the BBC... though, of course, I can be wrong.

I remember seeing the promo for this back in last year's E3 coverage, looked stunning then. Seeing it in-game now is awesome, can't wait. ETA is Spring 2008 right now for all consoles.
