The Sandpeople of the Kalahari Hunting without Weapons!

Telescopic Evolution - Waking Life excerpt

I find the animation horrible and distracting.

Once I just looked away, I could pay attention to what was said. Interesting...but far too optimistic. There is a reason predation and parasitism exist and have analogues even in modern human society - they work. Just because an entity has vastly greater mental capability doesn't mean it won't be an asshole - or won't happen to regard human beings in the same way we regard insects.

What is this from? I seem to remember Nimoy hosting an early-80s show on cable that was devoted to special effects in movies and TV shows, but I don't see anything like that mentioned in his IMDB profile.

Hmm, this excerpt doesn't really explain why it beats the Challenger 2 or the Abrams, but it's an interesting bit.

I am a bit amused nobody's commented about how they're not going to vote for a clip on horrible death machines...

Well, the man who wrote "Peace Train" also converted to Islam and supported the fatwa against Salman Rushdie (and then tried to sleaze out of having said that when it got him bad publicity). Life's a funny thing.

http://www.nytimes.com/books/99/04/18/specials/rushdie-cat.html?_r=1&oref=login An article quoting Yusuf Islam on just what he'd like to see happen to Rushdie, and how he'd help (from the Evil Korporate Media/Librul MSM, I'm afraid).

BBC: "Sony's PLAYSTATION 3 Has Disappointed Fans Again"

I buy the first interviewee. The second one, "James Greenberg", is either a plant or faking it. I don't believe anyone who cares as intently about the PS3 as he does first heard about the delay from a TV reporter.

The delay may hurt the PS3, but I think the price tag for it - which increases seemingly every time anyone from Sony makes a statement about the PS3 - is the greater harm. The me-tooism (tacking limited position-sensing onto otherwise conventional controllers after Nintendo started promoting its controller) worries me a bit, but that could be harmless PHB-ism.
