Videosift needs to integrate with a popular chat platform - or several. Discord, Reddit, something like that. They all have their downsides, but if we want to keep Videosift alive, we've got to plug into the mainstream.

Given the sheer number of solar systems within the game it's sounding more like a single-player experience for the most part, with the occasional solar system being designated as a community hub. Overall though I fear this game will be as short-lived as Spore despite some pretty awesome coding/technology in both of these games.
