The US is being run by the True Dictatorship! They just keep everyone so confused, so uneducated and so broke that no one can band together and do anything about it.
Your leaders are laughing at you while they eat their caviar, drink cognac and champagne and smoke Gurkha cigars while you wonder where your next phone bill payment is going to come from...
Those that can pay the bills are so ridden in dept they fantasize they have money. Most North Americans sit back passively and never acknowledge that they would loose everything if they miss 2-3 paychecks (some less than that).
(and yes, i include much of Canada in this group as well.)
The point is, if you think our "leaders" are there to serve us - you're living the biggest fantasy of all!
Oh ya, and most of them are lawyers - screwing us over one law at a time!

Thanks for making this a race issue.

There's a difference in being racist and making an observation about race. Are most rappers black? If I answer yes, does that make me racist? The irony in this video comes from the fact that it looks like soccer mom just hopped in the car and is fixing to blast Tom Jones. You don't expect the music or the reaction.

You're not prejudiced because you think the majority of rappers are black, you're prejudiced because you think the majority of people who listen to rap are black and you expect soccer moms to listen to Tom Jones.

al·right
[awl-rahyt]
–adverb
all right.
—Can be confused:  all right, alright (see usage note at the current entry ).
—Usage note
The form alright as a one-word spelling of the phrase all right in all of its senses probably arose by analogy with such words as already and altogether. Although alright is a common spelling in written dialogue and in other types of informal writing, all right is used in more formal, edited writing.
{EDIT} forgot the reference http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/alright

mmm yes let's ignore the humanity side of it, and just go to Libya for the oil - what a beautiful soul this man must have, underneath that lovely crop of hair.

You know what though?? For me, this was his one saving grace. I can't believe how honest he was. The govts. already in Libya for nothing but the oil - we know that, it's refreshing to hear some honesty.

@smart people

I didn't know fluoride was the main ingredient in Prozac..... But even if it is, it's such a minute quantity that it cannot have any effect, can it???

I'm super pro tap water, I despise the idea of bottled water. I'm pretty sure my tap here in Montreal has fluoride...

EDIT: Actually... looks like Montreal doesn't have fluoridation, however it's difficult to say for sure because cities seem to flip and flop back and forth on fluoridation and some Burroughs of Montreal do add fluoride. Ah well whatever, maybe the cool-aid's good for us.

Democracy in action. Government is good.

What does democracy have to do with private prisons?? How are prisoners housed and rehabilitated in your 'free' society??

Or do you just send them to the gallows?

I don't know how you people sleep at night.
I guess it's easy for a lot of you to pretend you don't see what your government is doing in your name.
It's crazy. You're all committing crimes against humanity by proxy.

Comments like this are so fucking obnoxious. Yes, there are serious problems, yes, people have become incredibly apathetic and sociopathic and yes, culture is more and more nihilistic, but how dare you pretend you've the moral authority to indict an entire people for the crimes of their government?

You're absolutely right. I am no moral authority. But I can freely put forth my opinion.

And my opinion is that the vast majority of Americans fucking know better. And if you know what your government is doing, you are morally obligated to get in the streets and scream.

So yes, it ain't my business, and it's probably obnoxious as hell to have an outsider throw your dirty shit stained laundry in your face, but maybe ya'll need to be shamed into some fucking action.

@Gallowflak Not trying to be an asshole, but enough is enough...
