we've purged some users for racism, but in general we try to stay out of mediating internal disputes between users. We are not now nor do we ever want to be the decider's of acceptability. We're all pretty liberal, over zealous comment policing falls on the wrong side of the censorship line. Yes sometimes people go to far, but in general that's a bad way to make friends, and people that frequently cross that line have dwindling returns on their input to the site.

In short we don't really do it because there hasn't bee a need for it. When it gets to the point where every other user is discussing my mother and their lewd desires for her then maybe we'll take another look, for the time being everybody seems to be perfectly pleasant for the most part.

You know you can change your personal sorting option just by checking one on the side. I for instance have mine defaulted to worst votes to views ratio. I think a lot of people are not actually using the default view. Although I suppose we could dig through our db and give you more exact results.

I still saw one there, just deleted it though. Let me know if there are any others.

It appears we were dugg. We got 5,000 unique viewers in the last hour, just from digg. Normally we have about 2,500 at our busiest time of day. The link is no longer on the front page and we think traffic should stabilize.

We're looking at ways to prevent such outages in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've never had a problem with the favicon in any web browser. Can't recreate your issue in ie 6, 7 or ff.

I activated an iphone yesterday. For the second time, my adventure with AT&T has been pretty convoluted as well. But Believe me it is worth it, awesome phone.

really what it comes down to though is that it's not XBMC... anyone who has used XBMC knows that until corporations give us that level of functionality Media Centers will never get off the ground.
