Most websites today require database access, ui design, a ton of compatibility testing, and optimization if you are lucky enough to have an audience. If usability, db access, and optimization isn't programming than I don't know what is.

I think that if we do this we need some sort of identifier for content that has advertising of any sort. Be it pre or post rolls.

I tend to agree that it should be shorter. For instance the current top video has only garnered about 10 more votes in the last 24 hours. Yet it's going to stick around for another day or so because of its now insurmountable lead.
