No doubt the cop is a hothead and overreacted, but information like "I have a weapon on me legally at this time" should be given directly.

You cannot infer from my comment if I'm being derogatory or just making a general light hearted comment.
I would be totally fine making my comment to friends of mine that are gay or lesbian and they would find it amusing.
In fact its probably the case that I am less homophobic than you I have gone to gay clubs with friends many times helped my gay friends chat up guys and come out to parents and even said I was gay in order to stick up for people ( not that any of that is a big thing )

You are right, I cannot infer the tone of your post by just reading the words. Since I don't know you or your gay friends, I can only go by what I read. However, when someone posts "spot the gay guy lol" with no other context, I feel they are being childish and stupid, hence my reference to you being like a 13 year old. I never implied in any way you were homophobic, simply childish.

So why didn't you say that in your original post? You just posted this video, quoted the Constitution and posted a link. I have no idea what you think, so I just have to assume this made you angry in some way. I was trying to get some information about what made you post this.

I can't tell if you are angry that he misspoke/is misinformed or that you think he's advocating some sort of liberal/dirty Mexican conspiracy to get an illegal immigrant elected president.

I was talking specifically about the ending of the clip right after he said what you are all so angry about. I would have liked to have heard more of it, to better understand the context of his statement. I'm not supporting what he's saying, for the same reasons you are quoting, that only a natural born citizen can become president per the Constitution.

I am surprised to see folks getting themselves so worked up over this impossible hypothetical and ultimately incorrect statement made by one man. You are acting as if his words can come true just because he holds an office and said it in front of a bunch of people. He can be wrong, and is, just like anyone else.

I just love it when videos are cut off so quickly that context is erased so obviously.
