And now, EIGHT fucking years later, US television says its OK to start talking about it, and so the internets are suddenly awash with all this waterboarding stuff.

I actually find it insulting to watch ANY of these American TV pundits talking about this, when none of them said a damn thing when it was going on for EIGHT YEARS.

Shame on them, and shame on the American television media.

None of the safeguards that are built into the Constitution to prevent anything like this happening were triggered, because the majority of people were waiting for the television to tell them what to do.

The Constitution, like the Magna Carta, is becoming nothing more than a history lesson, and the rights it gives to peaceful people are not being exercised en masse.

Now that they're all immune from prosecution they are happy to come on TV and become "part of the debate".

And it keeps what Obama's administration are doing in Pakistan off the news.

They're all murdering scum, and they only have power because we give it to them.
