LOVE THIS GUY! Kevin Smith @ ComicCon 2010
So wait, I thought this was a protractor, and what he's referring to is a compass? Or is that just yet another difference between American English and English? Or did someone actually stab someone else with a plastic tool for measuring angles?
The Plural of Octopus
I work as an editor and I have so many discussions about stuff like this with my boss. It was totally the fact that I nerd over language in this manner which gave me a rager, and nothing else.
Furthermore, I love that before I edited it I actually wrote "I work as a editor".

Israeli Woman Finds Out BF Is Arabic, Sues Him For Rape
Is it just me, or does he say as his opening statement: "Now the crime of rape genrererrry refers to"....
I listened to that part like 20 times, and I'm sure he says "genrererrry".
Kids testing classic video games
It totally can be * Happy. I totally love my retro gaming, and it's somewhat gratifying that they like these games even thought they're so old. Maybe it's just me, but it kinda shows to the critics of gaming that they're a valid form of entertainment.
Everyone accepts movies as a "real" entertainment source, and talk about the old school movies as some of the best ever made (Lawrence of Arabia, The Eagle has Landed, Casablanca) -- why can't the same be true for games??
Having said that, the dude who was all "video games are better than books" is a bit of a douche. I like both games and books, much like I enjoy both snowboarding and a fresh cup of tea, but comparing them in that manner is comparing two totally different things - both are good at the right time, and thus incomparable to eachother. Yeah they're both forms of "entertainment", and at certain times I prefer one over another, but which one I prefer changes depending on my mood. They're just different things that we can enjoy.
Sunday Night StarCraft - New Movie Trailer
I can't believe this is still languishing. I would totally selfpromote this for all the power points I will ever earn.
Actually, Siftbot, please don't take that seriously.

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Trailer (June 2010)
I've changed the embed as the YouTube user removed the original one. Apologies for the annoying annotation in the video, but this one does come in full 1080p glory! Revel in the glory of Harry's scar in high def!

Toronto police charge G20 crowd singing "O Canada"
Awwwww, the title made me think that the policemen would be singing "O Canada" as they charged. Boo for anaphora ambiguity, getting my hopes up like that.
Futurama - 'Making It Bigger Doesn't Make It Clearer'

Rage gameplay demo (e3 2010)
I got about 40 seconds in and noticed that Tim Willits said that they've taken this genre to the next level with the addition of vehicle combat! If only I could have had vehicle combat in Half Life 2, oh no, I mean CoD4:MW2, no, hang on, I mean Far Cry 2, or was it Crysis, DAMMIT, it was Borderlands, I'm sure of it!!...

But, at least they have all new characters, I mean, I would have hated it if they used the same characters as they did in... well... 'RAGE 0: The Prequel' I guess.
Having said that, it does look pretty!
