Lucy TRAILER 1 (2014) - Luc Besson, Scarlett Johansson Movie

Not impressed. If they have this special drug that literally turns people into a super human, why put it in some random, kidnapped person rather than someone they trust, or more likely, bought? Why put it in a container made out something with similar structural integrity to that of tissue paper, so that when she doubles over (like say to take a shit) it doesn't burst, thus creating a super human out to seek revenge? Why aren't there heaps of other super humans? It seemed like there was a LOT of this drug. Wouldn't she be encountering a lot of others with the same powers as her?

And then of course the 10% brain thing *rolls eyes strenuously*. Does anyone seriously believe this anymore? Who makes a movie around this premise in 2014?

Now those points aside, this still looks generic and dull as hell. The concept of a human rapidly evolving beyond the capabilities of the normal to super power territory is nothing new but still can be interesting and entertaining, I doubt this will be

This Is A Trent Reznor Song - Freddy Scott

I totally understand and appreciate where Reznor's coming from with Hesitation Marks, but I just can't listen to it. I tried to like, but after several attempts I gave up on it. I know his music has always been a reflection of himself, but I hope he tries something different next time.

BTW, I wasn't an angsty teen with I started listening to NIN so I haven't really grown with Reznor.

I've been listening to NIN for almost 20 years. I didn't know what to make of the album at first (wtf? major key?) but it grew on me. I'm not the angsty teen I was when I started listening to them. Nor is Reznor the same man who once penned 'Hurt.' He's got kids now--though I don't expect that he plays 'Closer' for them at home.

Regarding 'Hesitation Marks' as something of a resolution helps the album fit in the NIN discography.

Reznor has been Broken, fallen into a Downward Spiral, he's discovered The Perfect Drug, he thought he was Fixed, but discovered that he was still Fragile, recovered again With Teeth, started over at Year Zero, Slipped a bit, looked at his Hesitation Marks and remember that he has tried, and survived, Everything.

And this is a wonderful parody of his style.

I gotta stop upvoting before the end second of the video (or before reading the description).

So sick of these stupid fucking ads that have something meaningful and memorable in them, but then at the end tack on some bullshit product that literally has NOTHING to do with the content.
Now if it were ad about equality and at the end put something like "Snickers supports gender equality", that's another story, but this is shite

In BC, "walk in clinics" are privately owned. They have strict guidelines, and can only charge the various medical plans $xx.xx per whatever. Only the true Emergency Rooms at hospitals are run directly.

You should be making complaints if your stay is over an hour. Here in Victoria, I've never been charged for any clinic visit, and never have spent more than 45 minutes in said clinic. Granted, it feels longer when you're sick, but all in all, the "anti-single payer"s down in the States are full of shit.
