Pastor Warns If Democrats Win They'll Slaughter Christians
He’s not wrong. I love me some sexual immorality!
Bus Ignores Weight Limit on Bridge
Kudos to the engineers who built that.
STRAPPED INTO A SINKING HELICOPTER (with U.S. Marines)
Funny, I started watching this thinking the same thing Destin did.... "I'm an experienced diver... I'm super comfortable being underwater, even upside down and in enclosed spaces"
and then they talked about letting your sinuses flood... and my brain went "nope, not having that".
*quality video about not panicing in a tough situation.
Also, I had kind of assumed that being able to swim was a prerequisite for a MARINE!
Stoned Fighting: Jiu-Jitsu Meets Cannabis
Side-note: I would have thought that the smoking is the problem. Regardless of whether you're smoking weed or tobacco, it's going to affect lung function.
Stoned Fighting: Jiu-Jitsu Meets Cannabis
How attached are you to your joints?

How old is too late to learn Jiu-Jitsu?
Do you want an explosion?
As much as I hate to applaud stupidity, that was actually
a) really awesome and
b) quite aesthetically pleasing.
Kudos, idiots.

Everything about space is massive.
This system is used to reduce extreme heat and energy generated by a rocket launch. On Oct. 15, 2018, the Ignition Overpressure Protection and Sound Suppression water deluge system at Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39B was tested, sending water about 100 feet in the air. The test is part of preparation for launching our Space Launch System rocket on Exploration Mission-1 and subsequent missions.
Modifications were made to the pad after a previous wet flow test, increasing the performance of the system. During launch, this water deluge system will release approximately 450,000 gallons of water across the mobile launcher and Flame Deflector. -yt
Woman Tries To Block access to Apartment
It's kind of impossible to take any kind of sensible position without knowing the context of both sides.
Just because she's married to a black guy doesn't mean she doesn't have a bias against other black guys. There are plenty of studies that show even other black people have an unconscious bias against black dudes. It's not just personal, it's cultural and systemic.
So yeah, maybe he wasn't "reasonable" and maybe he didn't feel like being reasonable. Maybe he'd had a shit day and didn't feel like being interrogated on the way into his own apartment.
He said he had a key fob and even showed it to her. You can clearly see it in the video.
And I can think she was in the wrong without condoning death threats against her.
Yes, and any reasonable person would have done exactly that instead of intentionally causing an incident he could film and maybe profit from, or at least get some world star views.
She's married to a black dude, so I'll go out on a limb and say she isn't afraid of black men more than other men.
Of course, there's the possibility that she's actually a captive of her husband, forced against her will to marry and live with someone she feared and didn't respect because of their skin color just to torture her because she's really a racist bitch, but I seriously doubt it.
If the answer is yes, she's done this before to white guys they just didn't film it to publicly shame her and instead just used their fob again like a reasonable neighbor, would you change your position?
No, he has no obligation beyond the building's written rules to engage her at all, but that's exactly why she was suspicious, he violated building rules and stupidly refused to be reasonable....whatever his reason might have been, likely a mistaken assumption she was racially motivated and not just a good neighbor looking out for the safety of her building as the management had repeatedly requested everyone living there do.
What do you think he would do if a few 6'6" skinheads barged in when he opened the door, shoved past him, and rudely refused to prove they belonged there while filming him, snidely commenting about the dumb black boy who thinks he's security? Would you then excuse the hundreds of death threats he started getting from random racists for daring to confront white men? I hope not.
Woman Tries To Block access to Apartment
On one hand, he could have easily defused the situation by backing off, waiting a second and using his key fob.
But on the other hand, why should he? Maybe's he's an attention seeker, or maybe he's just sick of constant low-level racism and decided "fuck it, I'm not putting up with this bullshit today."
Let's be honest, would she have confronted him if he wasn't a black dude? Does she apply this rigorous security policy to everyone? Also, he has no obligation to tell her what apartment he lives in.
Why George Lucas is NOT a bad director - A Visual Essay
I agree with everything he said... except for the last point.
The story of the prequels is boring and it's not directed in a visually interesting way.
Anakin's transformation into Vader is narratively clumsy and I'm not even sure you can entirely blame Christensen for his portrayal of Anakin, given the clunkiness of the script (blindingly obvious tip: if you're creating the guy who will become Space-Hitler, don't let people call him "Ani").
Lusas is undoubtedly a technical visionary, and he's certainly not a "bad" director, he's just not really good enough to be directing the biggest movies on the planet.
Officer talks to kids about flashing realistic BB gun
Look, I’m sure the guy is a good dude, but is not shooting a child really considered a high bar for policing in the US now?
‘Cos that is what I would consider the baseline of human decency and critical thinking.
Someone get this offer a pay raise. Dude deserves it.

Daily Show : Trump Weaponizes Victimhood to Defend Kavanaugh
Yes.... but at the same time clearly mocking her to anyone with half brain (so about 2% of his audience).
The same way that I can tell you that I think Trump is really, bigly smart and not at all a narcissistic, hobbit-handed, sexist, racist asshole and you can figure out that I'm not being 100% genuine.
Trump was repeating her answers to the questions.
Star Trek: Voyager Nothing Human
"that doesn't justify using people in laboratory experiments"
uhhh, exactly how does holodoc think medical science works?
We use people in laboratory experiments all the damn time. It's called double-blind testing and it means that very sick people get given a placebo that we know does nothing.
I don't remember this episode, but I'm surprised at this lack of nuance from Star Trek.
And holo-space-nazi is right... it's funny how ethics go out the window when one of the main cast members life is threatened. But if a red-shirt is on the table....
Anyway, there's a massive difference between USING knowledge obtained by unethical means and GAINING knowledge by unethical means.
Don't get me wrong, medical ethics is really important. But throwing away knowledge after the fact is not only pointless, it's immoral. Especially in this case, where you're not even using the person who did the research, just a digital representation of them.
