Richard Dawkins and the Teapot Atheists
Considering that atheism is widely accepted in public and even becoming more popular, was this film really necessary?

Lame spoof of Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" - paid for by Exxon
What bothers me the most is not that this video was made, or that it was made by someone working for Exxon, but rather the attitude people have against it.
If this video WAS made by an amateur, as it many first suspected, most people would have dismissed it as a harmless spoof, cute at best. Yet because it was made by a company, people are getting upset. This puzzles me because propaganda is propaganda, no matter WHO makes it.
The attitude that this video is somehow sinister because it was sponsored by an oil company puzzles me, because if ACLU or an individual made it, no one would bat an eyelash. Maybe some can explain why everyone is so upset with it.
To me, it was a silly spoof that was trying to make Gore look bad. But really, it's kind of boring compared to funnier videos, like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BjrOi4vF24&mode=related&search=
