Crows have been used a few times as "black characters." The one that most immediately comes to mind is the jungle book. If we're talking abuot black sterotypes, tehre's also the crow dressed as the sterotypical "mammy" (think aunt jemima) and the saxophone/piano playing jazzy crows.

I still find family guy moderately funny, but I don't think the problem is that the writing is getting worse, I think it's that they need to innovate. Its the same schtick, and most people are over it now.

On a side note, has anyone noticed that each episode seems to have multiple jokes about Jews? They always used to have some, but there were like 4 or 5 in this one. I can never decide if they're satirizing stereotypes or just perpetuating them either.

Yeah, yeah I know.
