Muse Play Knights at Glastonbury Festival 2010
Erm, the video "spoils" what song they're playing by announcing it over the first 10 seconds.

Wow, that
lazy eyeeye misalignment is really distracting. I'm surprised that it's so much more noticeable than any of the other CP symptoms. The Glorious Return of DinoCopter
Is that Jon Voight piloting the dinocopter?
Well, who cares. Upvote anyway.

Real Time with Bill Maher - New Rules (April 16,2010)
That's basically it, actually. His first show was called Politically Incorrect, same show, fewer f-bombs. This one is called Real Time, presumably meaning "get real." His whole schtick has always been based upon what his perception of speaking "plainly" is. Frankly, I find his humor suffers from too much cynicism.>> ^Baera:
So.. his thing is just to say things that decent people wouldn't? He should do more jokes.

CEO of Toyota on Letterman
Oh, come on, now. Nobody is wondering if that's the real guy. It's got the comedy and parody tags stamped right on it. Why break balls?>> ^BoneyD:
Firstly, Dave, the floormats were NEVER a problem. That was an excuse used by Toyota to not look in to spending the money on a recall. I can't believe he just parroted that... or was that part of the satire? Seems to me you should at least in some way acknowledge the lie.
And that Prius driver in California may very likely have faked it:

ars-trucks/daily-news/100312-Could-Runaway-Prius-Have-Been-Faked-/
But I can understand not wanting to speak against the guy, lest he attract a libel case.
Although I can acknowledge some comedic timing in this bit, it just safely plays on stereotypes from pre-1950. That's really the best you can do?
(Oh btw if people are wondering, that's not the real Toyoda Akio. )

GPS: N. Myhrvold on penguin crap and global warming
The idea of a NSFW tag is so that we can avoid things with objectionable material in environments that aren't friendly to it. Putting profanity in the title and description of the video is contrary to that spirit.
Craig Ferguson Really Hates Twilight
>> ^hertzollner:
Huh? He only mentions the series True Blood.. which was a bloody good imho.
I refer you to 1:10. "Vegetarian douchebags on Twilight."
Rachel Maddow - Missing C-SPAN Video Of McCain's Objection
>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:
I don't get how anyone could vote republican. They achieve nothing. They contribute nothing. They exist to massage the prostate of corporations.
While I don't necessarily think that you're going to win over anyone with the prostate comment, your basic assessment isn't far off. Remember that most people get their politics from their parents, so really overt and generalized criticism tends to fall on deaf ears. Then again, this is the interweb, so there's not much persuading to be had, anyway.
That being said, your comment reminds me of something that Jon Stewart said a number of years ago that really resonated with me. I really wish I could find a clip of it, but he was saying that he didn't understand the basic fundamental view of conservatism, in that by definition they want to maintain the status quo, and are therefore by default are opposed to progress, and that the tenets of conservatism seem to be rooted in the fear of change. What really stuck out, though, was his observation that throughout history, in the long run, conservative movements and viewpoints always lose.
Progress wins out, eventually, every time.
