>>>Their tax scheme is the same poop that failed in the 1920s, failed again in >>>the 1960s, and will fail yet again should enough voters fall for it.

I am sorry but this comment is so wrong it is not funny. The amercian economy is not booming like it was in the 1920's. It more like in 1929 at the start of the great depression. You should go study some ecomoniuc history in particlar the great man John Maynard keynes. How was the ecomony saved from the great depression? Through incressed government spending and targeted tax cuts. McCain's policies will not do either of these effectively. He tax cuts at the top end of town will not boost the economy as effectively as those of Obama's. Giving tax cuts to low income people will result in the money being spent in local commmunities, which will directly provide increased revenue for small businesses. The rich are more likey to save the money from tax cuts or spend it outside of the U.S. In short Obama's tax policy is much better targeted than McCain and talk of it being socialist and Unamercian is the real poop.

Please tell me how reversing a Bush tax cut will some how turn the U.S into some kind of Communist regime. I don't remember it being one during the Clinton era.

America is a consumer economy. The largest one in the world in fact. The best way to pump prime this sort of economy is to enable consumers to spend more. Hence the Obama tax policy to give tax cuts to 95% of americans.

It is sad that these people aren't really listening to Palin's policies, as they are already made they mind up the minute a black man joined the presidential race. How do you get through to these people that they are the ones who will suffer under McCain and Palin.

I can't imagine a President being named Obama!

Maybe she should actually read the Bible.

The McCain brand of extreme Captialism where its profit at all costs with zero regulation doesn't sound very Christian to me.

Ps. 10:3 - "the greedy man curses and spurns God"
Prov. 11:6 - "the treacherous are caught by their own greed"
Jere. 6:13; 8:10 - "everyone is greedy for gain"
Lk. 12:15 - "be on guard against every form of greed; life is not in possessions"
Eph. 4:9 - "Gentiles...practice every kind of impurity with greediness"
I Thess. 2:5 - "we did not come with pretext for greed"
I Tim. 3:8 - (deacons) "not fond of sordid gain" (cf. Titus 1:7)
II Peter 2:3 - (false prophets) "in their greed they will exploit you with false words"
II Peter 2:14 - (false prophets) "have hearts trained in greed"

Sad that Her racism has distorted her faith.

Obama Slams McCain for Calling him a Socialist

13419 says...

Is a change to the tax system to make it more progressive really a bad thing? The U.S is the largest consumer economy in the world. The best way to turn around this sort of economy is by increasing consumer demand. So is Obama's plan tax policy better than McCain's for America right now. Damn right it is. Don't let people trick you with this socialism crap. McCain's extreme capitalism will hurt America at a time when it least can afford it.

TRN: Why not spread the wealth?

13419 says...

McCain's tax policy is not the answer for america.

The U.S is the largest consumer economy in the world. The best way to pump prime this sort of economy is from the ground up. Obama's tax policy is targeted directly to this.

I know some people feel this conflicts with the american ideology. It does not and should not. Some people however are using fear to make it sound like it does. America needs to wake up. The world has moved on since the Reagan years and America needs to do the same if it wants to retain its No. 1 position in the world.
