Actually, this is just one segment of a larger speech.

The woman in the middle just had the most uncomfortable experience of her life.

Also, I thought it was dreadfully Orwellian when, right after the exploitative video ended, the first thing it cut to was a huge, waving, American flag.

Whenever I hear the phrase:
"America's security is at stake,"
I know that whoever says it is trying to force me, through fear, to believe whatever they say.
This is wrong. This is all wrong.

Know what? I'm from the midwest, and I can speak from experience when I say that we're not all redneck jesusville idiots out here. For example, my father was born in Oklahoma, raised in Mississippi and then moved to Kansas. He has never supported the Bush presidency, he vocally recognizes that war in Iraq is immoral and illegal, and he is one of the smartest people I have ever known. I'm tired of being automatically associated with the bigoted, blind minority of the population in this region, just because I live here.
