Seriously the best band out there right now. I love everything from classical chamber music to emo to death metal. But Muse has talent that can't be denied. And lol at your atheist tag comment, popularity through conformity never dies.

To me the funny thing about atheists is that they as Terry Prachett says "are as religious as they come because they think about God more often and with greater fervor then any religious person, even if only in denial."

The other funny thing is that the very notion of God is an all knowing being that has created the universe. And here we humans, who create our wars, our racism, our casual indifferance to the plight of mankind, are going to say we know better then the all knowing.

As someone thats ragingly straight, even I can see the entire intention of this video was an attempt at humor. The intent of the other video ranges from "my girl has a sexy ass: Go me!" to "I'm being paid to make a viral add for wii fit"

Taking these two videos and spending an hour in debate over the sexual stereotypes and misconceptions in the free world show things ranging from "we all have too much time on our hands", to "we're a pile of repressed individuals that can't appreciate entertainment at face (well more the opposite of face really) value because our ever enlightened cynicism knows no bounds".

People here are right. You're going to believe what you want no matter what anyone else tells you.

The very simplified explanation is this. Assuming the bible is a literal account as fundamentalist Christians (like me) do, when Jesus came, he superseded the old way of doing things (Matthew 26:28).

The rules in place for the "Book of the Law" Leviticus were for a time when the entire nation of Isreal were to follow one faith and god,not take a pick and mix approach.

The reason the old testament is kept in the bible cannon is there is still a great many valuable lessons to be learned from the examples of the past. The "rules" as it stands today however are as set out by the only designated authority that's interacted with us, the Son of God.

I have been watching clips on the sift here for over 4 years and never posted till now. But I can't stand the hypocricy of the vast majority of posters here.

You're denouncing this news clip because of how unfair it would be for an entire society hating on another purely because of the ideology of its members. Yet every single day something is either posted about how if you believe in religion you're A: wrong, B: backwards.

The entirety of religious society is discarded here on the sift based on YOUR narrow minded viewpoints. And its hard to fathom that someone else can feel the same about your nation?
