Video of Steve Irwin's death?
http://digg.com/videos_people/Steve_Irwins_Last_Video_Death_on_Film_Stingray_Attack_Video says the video was on YouTube, but it was pulled. Did anyone see this yet? Supposedly, it will be shown according to http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news_detail.html?sku=384 ...

i don't think i would watch if it was made available ... there are certain images i would rather not have floating around when i drift off into a peaceful unconsciousness every night!
Yeah, it would be against VideoSift posting rules too.
After reading the article on the Daily Star's site it seems to me that Irwin was just being his usual jovial, bombastic self when he said that he wanted the cameras to keep rolling even if he was getting eaten.
It definitely didn't say anywhere that he wanted his death to be broadcasted - there's a massive difference between authorizing recordings of yourself and authorizing TV transmission of those recordings - but I'm sure that detail will be glossed over by the TV companies who'll be climbing over each other to be the latest in a long line of scumsuckers who financially profit from death.
I heard that Discovery will air the whole film they shot up to (but just moments before) him getting ray-ed, and then show a funeral and biopic tribute.
But sure this is the thing of urban legends and undoubtly fake vids will hit the internet. This is a good article about the death footage being out there an possibly getting on the internets. I doubt it will ever be accidentally released. http://www.sltrib.com/entertainment/ci_4295973
Wouldn't that count as snuff?
Yup, that's what James was referring to in his comment above.
It can't be. I remember hearing that the video was still at the coroners office.
Yes, it's supposed to be locked in a safe.
