I know this doesn't come as a newsflash but it was more fun back when his comments were fully automated and used for record keeping. That way we could all PRETEND that he was a sentient being that was just and omnipotent. Now-a-days he seems to have a trace of human in the occasional comment. What was funny at first has seemed to reveal something unsettling: siftbot is under the control of humans and he can be manipulated by those in control of him for their own gain. Now, I KNOW that our fearless human videosift leaders wouldn't exploit siftbot, but it is kind of disheartening to know that he can be exploited. Can we bring back auto-siftbot whose only sense of humor came on the sporadic occasion that his automated response humorously fit in with the thread?
