Random Video
After being inspired by YouDieJoe's introduction of a really fun game, we've added a simple new feature that should help you to pass the time. It allows you to watch a completely random video.
You can view a random video by visiting:
http://videosift.com/random
Channel-specific random videos also work if you to go the same page within a channel subdomain, e.g., http://asia.videosift.com/random
You can access the random video link in the "VideoSift Links" sidebar panel at the bottom of any video page. Try your luck, especially if you're bored. You might find some real gold in them thar hills.

I am, however, worried about the NSFW tag. Is there some way to filter those videos out while browsing randomly? I'm thinking it would help some folks avoid trouble, in that- well, you know
Also, I know this would negate the whole idea of actual randomness, but how about imposing a bias ratio of, let's say, 6:4 of unsifted to sifted videos among those shown randomly - but exclusively for registered users? I mean, relative to overall amounts, so that unsifted sifts would have a marginally higher chance of being shown randomly than they would normally (NOT absolute 6:4 ratio; NOT so that unsifted vids show up 50% more often than sifted ones). Would setting that up take a lot of additional coding?

Good point about NSFW. I adjusted it so if your filter is on no NSFW vids will be selected. And the whole ratio thing does go against the idea of randomosity (and there's no technical way to do that without adding heavy load).
