Newbie Top 15 Question
So, my video (http://www.videosift.com/video/Penn-and-Teller-on-Letterman-07) was in the top 15 for a few hours, then it disappeared. It still has more votes than #15 (46 vs 27 currently), was queued only a day ago, and originally submitted maybe 3 days ago. So why did it disappear? These are the only reasons the FAQ lists for a video not on the top 15 sidebar. I was so psyched, now I'm just confused!

maggie says...Much thanks dag - FAQ terminology is bit confusing on this subject though to new sifters. I guess because I assumed the 4 day limit would apply to a "sifted" video, since some videos seem to sit in queue for a while before being discovered and upvoted like crazy. It didn't seem make sense that said videos could be bumped from the top 15 in a matter of hours. Ah well, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

we have tried it with the top 15 using the published date - but the list gets kind of stale, as the videos tend to hang out a lot longer. I suppose we could use the published date and whack it down to 3 days on the top 15.
GrimmIt's a catch-22...in order for videos to get on the list videos have to be moved off the list to open up positions. Though it does seem like a video should get to live on the list for at least 24 hours.
