More funk
To all the restless obsessive compulsives of the SORTING/entropy fighting machine that is Videosift, I ask:
Where can I find more of the type of music in: http://www.videosift.com/video/Mother-of-All-Funk-Chords .
Seeing how all music gets sub-genred and labeled to death, there is a BOX containing the exact same kind of pure, concentrated pleasure as the sounds in the above link.
I crave the name and the whereabouts of that box. I crave it with a lust that transcends the animalish into the human. You will now supply me with suggestions and links, or I will sing the song that ends the world.

The "In Yo Face: History of Funk volumes 1-5" is a pretty solid funk collection.
Greatest Hits collections from James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Parliament are also recommended.
I also like Prince and MeShell Ndegeocello's more modern funk.
I've neglected it, but my Make My Funk the P-Funk playlist is a decent little collection.
Kutiman is the artist of that one - I've posted one, NicoleBee another, and there are one or two more off his album on here. His name should be tagged in all.
edit:
weird....here's the search:
