I take this new channel business seriously. I want it to mean something to the community, unlike kornosposeiden who squandered his only channel on "books". Yeah, that turned out to be a popular channel of worth. (just kidding, KP! Great channel!)

No but seriously, I've got some ideas, and it would make me happy to get some feedback from the rest of you. Here's a smattering of prospective channels:


Fascism - I wanted to make a civil liberties channel or civil rights channel, but that seemed like a channel that would be confused for pro-civil rights or pro-civil liberties posts only, and most people wouldn't think to tag a fascist cop video with *civilliberties. I think a fascism channel could contain videos about freedoms & liberties encroachment, authoritarian police & government, overzealous patriotism & nationalism, bullying, or even mob rule/justice.

Brief - Any video 30 seconds or less.

Government & Law - Anything pertaining to a body of government or a system of law, which can be anything from videos of photo-enforced traffic lights to court testimonies to government sponsored terrorism to... well, you get the idea. It's a pretty wide umbrella for all things law and all things government.

News - a lot of news clips on here (both national and local), but nothing to mark them with.

Amateur - Oh, you know, the kid with the camera shooting his latest filmic opus on his crappy VHSC camera in the basement with no lighting. It's pretty self-explanatory.

War - a tag for all things war: WWII, War on drugs, etc.
