Joaquin Phoenix punchline not that funny
Just saw my first review of the Joaquin Phoenix mockumentary "I'm Still Here". To put it lightly, it's not positive.
Favourite quote: "If you take my advice, you still shouldn't see I'm Still Here because it is awful. It is not entertaining. It is not clever. It is asking you to pay money to be told you're an idiot, and specifically you're an idiot to have paid money to see it".
It's the second film reviewed in this clip of three: http://media.theage.com.au/?rid=67164&sy=age&source=theage.com.au%2F
Has anyone seen it?

Was the whole rap thing a staged prelude to this movie, or was it genuine?
Aye fink sum of eyoo lads down under think a tad too mooch!
(wtf^)
It appears to have all been a 2 year piece of performance art, including the rap shows.
For sheer effort, I'm definitely going to see the end product. I doubt I'll fork over the green, given that no one appears to like it, but I'm interested enough to see what comes out of 2 years worth of footage.

Tell us what you really think, AC.
Why did the jew cross the road?
Mel Gibson.
If this really WAS a 2 year performance piece to portray an actors downfall into drugs/obscurity/failure. Man, they hit the nail on the head (albeit I would imagine it is MUCH easier to destroy a career, than to build one).
With that said, I hope Joaquin comes back and makes some awesome movies again.
