Idea to help with fixing dead pool videos
I think I might get into the habit of listing the running time of my submissions so that future fixers will have one more piece of information to locate a new embed.
Would it be useful to have this as a new field in VS 3.1?

Sounds familiar...
EDIT: Never mind. Wrong thread.
i was thinking of a "dead fix info" box for typing in more hidden info... hidden until dead...
i mean sometimes you don't want to describe the video before people see it, and you want a cryptic title, but if it's dead you need some kind of description to find it again.
the duration isn't always the same on replacement clips, and it would be a pain to type in every time.
Dandy idea! Fletch, ya shameless horn-tooter!
it would definitly be a useful feature to have the software automatically get video length and put it near the title.
I guess not easy to code, though (if it was easy, i bet 4:1 it would've already been done).
I really think there should be a longer video burn out for videos in the dead pool, because some of them can be eventually fixed but many are snippets of rarity that I don't see coming back anytime soon or ever.
The Dead Pool would only get larger.
Maybe they could be taken out to like a VS graveyard.
Oops, I tooted my horn in wrong thread. Meant to post that in Grimm's "Dead Pool Fixes" ST.
