So I picked up House of the Dead: Overkill and being the zombie fanatic that I am (vampires are my second favorite), I surprised myself by only stumbling on news of this game about week before its release. Definitely worth it, imho. The zombies are plenty numerous (with the ability to turn on extra ones to make it harder), the ability to buy and upgrade weapons before a mission (I am SOOO getting that auto-shotgun), and the general overall theme of grindhouse they gave to the game make this one a winner in my book.

My only complaints come from the lag that occasionally pops up and all the swearing. Now don't get my wrong, I swear up and down just as much as the next sailor, but it gets a little fucking ridiculous after a motherfucking while. Shit. You fucking understand what the fuck I'm fucking saying, cocksucker? I mean shitballfuckassbitchcumdickstain! You know, it's like using spices in cooking. You season your speech; you don't dump the whole can in.

Anyways, great game! Give it a rental first if you'd like, but if you love games and zombies, I wouldn't hesitate.
