Help! A dilemma...
Hi Sifters, I've found a really great video (not made by me) that I want to contribute to the Video (game) collective, but unfortunately it doesn't appear to be on any of the video hosts. I was considering uploading it to my youtube page, but then I read in the posting guidelines that this constitutes a self-link and a ban. What can I do instead? Cheers

Clayton says...I hear ya. I often find the best stuff on the most oddball hosts. So much of the good stuff is copyrighted and the mainstream hosts pull it in a matter of days.

I find it really great that you've actually read the posting guidelines and are asking how to stick to them. They are too often ignored.
Read this post as silvercord has offered to host anyone's host-not-supported vids on his dummy account at YouTube so you may then post to VideoSift without running afoul of the siftlaw.
