Triumph And Fake Fox News Girls At Republican Rallys

vil says...

Ahh is this like an argument, or are you two just insulting each other?

Its really difficult to "believe" in something if you dont know what the hell it is or is trying to be. It is better to discover and know than to believe. I dont have a horse in this race as I am not american (my sister is and she just de-registered from the republicans), but seriously why are there no "normal" people running for political jobs anymore? You know, credible people with a plan, not psychopats, not avatars of agressive womanhood, latino-ism, socialism or stupidity?

Are there only dumb fanboys at these rallies so stupidity is expected, and has to be promoted in order to appeal? Are facts and program and sanity important to any degree at all?

Is Trump the bigger bum than Sanders, just with a rich dad?

why is the media ignoring the sanders campaign?

Paul was the only real "liberal" candidate in recent times.

I mean that with the dictionary definition of liberality - not the political definition.

He was a 'live and let live' person, not interested in shoving the ideals of either end of the political spectrum down the entire nation's cumulative throat.

Fanboys of either end of the spectrum can't support anyone like that. They inherently want their way to be everyone's way, which a voluntarist like Paul isn't about.

His willingness to let persons on either side live freely how they personally want to, and be free to dislike how others live, made him atypical, and hence fringe by definition.

To me, he is a person of most excellent character.
I wish his son was more like him (rather than swinging off the born-again crowd's nuts).

Ron Paul was not goofy, but he was a (partially) fringe candidate. The gold standard being his biggest kookiness. But as far as just being loved by libertarians, well, that's what the media sold and that's what some poor saps actually believe.

As more a liberal leaning guy I swapped parties to vote for Paul. His honesty was nice but would have been unverifiable. However, his willingness to buck those he could have been bought by and made president from amazed me. He wasn't a populist except insofar as that his message was against those in power.

But what is most funny is this. Paul didn't do bad in the polls for basically being a 3rd party candidate. In that he smashed Nader and most other 3rd party candidates. Even knowing his defeat, those still willing to show their vote to him was astonishing. Now some would argue that he technically wasn't third party since he ceremoniously went under the Republican brand...but that's about stupid logic there.

the fuck is going on in that country? And you guys just watch it happen and get worse by the day? Protesting is communism, huh?
I was once a huge fanboy of the USA, even defended some unbelievable shit they did, because I believed it was only for the good. I lost all my respect and love for it in just a couple of years.

Magician Dan White Blows Jimmy Fallon's Mind

No Derren Brown tags available. It's pretty much the same. If you read Derren's book, it's sort of nlp and it sort of isn't. He's just looking for a reaction to one of the options, he'll give away tells for sure, most of us do.

Long and short is, NLP is that everyone gives the exact same tells for certain things, when in reality we all give tells, but they're our own personal one. You just have to see what tells the person gives away.

I hope that mini Derren Brown fanboy rant helped a bit. =)

Ronald Jenkees - Try The Bass (Latest single)

This is one artist I heavily recommend. I'm super pumped for this new album.

His already released albums are really quite great, my play count is probably in the thousands on some of the older tracks and I've never been tired of them.

Naturally I'm a bit of a bias fanboy but I dunno, his music just works for me. You can listen to all of it on Spotify but he's a small time artist, so if you can spare the bucks for a purchase I know he appreciates it because I've emailed him a decent amount and he's a genuinely nice guy, very humble.

daily show-republicans and their gay marriage freak out

Asmo says...

You are saying I ignored the subtext, but that would infer that what you interpret is in fact what is being written between the lines. Perhaps someone should ask Stewart what his position is on polygamists marrying prior to attacking him based on a subjective interpretation of what he said?

I have no cards in the game so to speak, I'm straight and "conventionally" married (for whatever that is worth), but I 100% support the right to marriage equality for people able to legally consent. I'm not a Stewart fanboy and I don't believe he is infallible, but I just do not see your interpretation in what was said (and what wasn't). We obviously have a difference of opinion, and think each other incorrect, but that's cool as well, we aren't required to agree. But saying 'it's completely obvious and if you don't see it my way, don't bother replying' is a cop out... Never mind adding Nazi's and an inferred cocksucking insult. You going for a world record of logical fallacies in one post? \= )

Irt marriage in general, my point wasn't that the institution itself was perfect, it's that every couple should be allowed to define their relationship on their own terms without anyone else stepping in to define it for them. Yes, it's a contract, but like any contract we choose to enter in to, we have to be satisfied by the terms of it. That it can be toxic is stating the obvious, but that's neither here nor there irt the topic at hand.

As to whether monogamy is a natural state, that's kinda irrelevant to the topic at hand.

And my naughtiness? \= )

"but monogamy is inconvenient for damn near everyone who practices it."

How is this not defining other people's relationships? That statement is pretty unequivocal. Not really much to be inferred there. ; )

What sudden disbelief? I don't remember being a NdT fanboy.

As with everybody, just because someone is correct most of the time doesn't mean, he's always correct (or, in this case, relevant).

Do you believe he is qualified to comment on evolution, even though he's not a biologist? Is he qualified to comment on global warming even though he's not a climate scientist? Why the sudden belief that he is ignorant when it comes to GMOs?

11 Questions Willy Wonka Left Unanswered

grinter says...

1. He’s a tinker. He fixes things, and sharpens knives
2. Someone who appreciates or is loyal to Wonka products, a fanboy.
3.He’s Mike’s friend.. the other questions are don’t stem from the movie.
4.He is sooo excited about the ticket that it has given him uncharacteristic strength (he’s obviously worn out after the dance). It’s a musical, stop being a dipshit.
5. Yes, no, no.
6. He’s doing it sneakily, the parents don’t notice (although some of the children later tell their parents).
7. Businessmen often use out of place, insincere physical contact as a device to demonstrate their sincerity and good nature.. and no, Mr. Beauregarde’s attempt at networking was thoroughly shot down.
8. No. no. and C’mon pay attention! ..and again, it’s a musical, although it’s also implied that the Oompa Loompas tend to sing and dance as they work.
9. No. Wonka and the tour don’t take the ferry when the leave the room, and there is clearly no way all of the Oompa Loompas would be able to use the ferry efficiently. and, no, no, no.
10. No. No one was seriously hurt, and the contract apparently had more to do with the contest (limited to the children) than protection from injury suits. Assault is not considered assault when its whimsical; it’s considered a prank.
11. Capitalist greed, and a lack of value placed on simple pleasures and imagination.

Xbox One Kinect Calls Foul on Bad Language

newtboy says...

Well, I suppose that makes some sense for some people. I want my games as FUN as possible...if that means less realism in some ways, that's what I want. I do know I'm an oddball, so I feel lucky that the entire gaming industry isn't going the hyper-realism direction.
As I said, this isn't really an issue for me as I don't use multiplayer or chat much if at all (or play sports games much). If I did, and this is not optional, it would upset me to find out about it after I bought the game and/or system. That's why this video is helpful no matter what you feel about it, it's informative (if only minimally).
It IS an issue for me that XB1 has an always on microphone/camera and an always on internet connection. For someone like me, that's just a door for intrusion with little to no benefit. (I expect to hear about them being hacked by an ex-boyfriend to spy on someone within 6 months.) That's the main reason I prefer PS4 so far, the microphone/camera is optional. I also don't need my game machine to be a full multimedia platform for all my video needs, which seems to be a main 'selling point' for XB1 that's lost on me.
(and I'm not just a PS fanboy, I have a 360 and ps3, but no camera/microphone on either)

Because people want them "real" as possible. I am fine with the old games on NES because I don't care. But if you bought the Xbox one well then you obviously need it as close to life to feel complete as possible. His desire, not mine.

BATMAN vs DEADPOOL - Who will Win?

poolcleaner says...

When it comes down to a fair fight, Batman loses against anyone that doesn't just fight hand to hand and/or has a healing factor / super strength. But that's not what Batman's true power is. These idiot fanboys and their value system based on Street Fighter / Mortal Kombat bullshit. 3, 2, 1 -- Fight!

No, no, no, humans: His true strength delves into something which can only be whittled down via the collapse of Earth itself: Economic superiority. But even then, he's the Ritchie Rich of superheoes and would likely be able to rebuild his wealth on another planet.

All Batman needs to do is acquire an object of immense power and then employ it against whoever it is he's up against. He doesn't even need to fight but chooses to fight. If he's fighting Superman, obtain kryptonite -- or hell, gain access to the Siege Perilous and then just destroy the mind of whatever passes through it. He's friggin' Bruce Wayne and has a vast web of connections, bolstered by his income, which can get him ANYTHING.

Anyway. There are cosmic entities which have a greater pull of resources than Batman so let's match Batman's economic superiority (he's basically an army) against an actual threat backed by near infinite resources, such as the Negative Zone's Annihilus, Titan's Thanos, a time traveler like Kang the Conqueror, or the hive mind of the Phalanx.

Hell, I'd love to see Batman hack Galactus' base of operations and then invade and divert cosmic consonance.

But this pussy footing Batman VERSUS Deadpool is moot. Batman VERSUS anyone in a normal match up is stupid. Elevate your understanding.

Honest Trailers - Man of Steel

EvilDeathBee says...

Funny video, but jeez, so many butt-hurt fanboys over this movie. I thought Man of Steel was awesome. Had a few problems, but overall a great super hero movie.

"So, if you loved the Christopher Reeve era superhero movie..."
I'm gonna stop you right there, this ISN'T the Richard Donner movie and it's not intending to be. Get over the past.
