  1. Never reload the page your video is on. It reduces the video heat. if you need to make changes, use your http://videosift.com/member/marinara/queued page (from the right menu)

  2. The first minute, hour and day are the most important. If your video gets pushed way way down, or downvoted, consider reposting after ant has logged off. Nobody cares! just *kill and repost!


  3. Post your video in a popular channel. Have you looked at the list of popular channels?


  4. look at your comments. Upvote any comment so it appears in the list of recently upvoted comments.


  5. You can embed your video in a videosift comment. If you can find a more popular video on the same subject, why not embed it there?
