All that…public drunkenness as a minor, obstructing, disturbing the peace, disorderly conducts, ignoring a lawful order, and identity theft (technically)/using another person’s ID…and it took 15 minutes to finally decide to arrest her and then she got ONE charge that was DROPPED! Holy shit, white girl privilege is STRONG. Her boyfriend would be denied bail if he acted that way, and likely get an assaulting a police officer charge added for fun. *wtf

It was that the white girls were vandalizing using black lives matter during a protest over black lives lost and telling all the black people telling them to 'stop because they aren't helping' that they don't matter and neither does the fact that black men, not white women, will be blamed for the vandalism, wasn't it?

If they were black, at least the right subset would be blamed....this seems kinda like if black kids tagged a synagogue with swastikas to stoke anger at white power nazis [and or white people in general].

At the same time one doesn't have to be black to see the injustice and to be angry about the situation.
It seems like her issue wasn't so much with the tagging itself but rather that the tagging was done by *white* girls.
Would she be ok if those 2 girls were black? Would that somehow more justify their actions?

This is why I cannot understand most "conservatives" wanting to ban abortion, or at least wanting to make it a state by state right, eradicating it outright or regulating it to death in most red states.

As a group, they complain that minority populations are growing much faster than white populations (making whites a minority), but then create policies that can only exacerbate that disparity (because as you hinted, white girls are more likely to be able to afford to travel out of state to get an abortion). They complain about a prevalence of single parent households, and create policies that can only create exponentially more. They complain about uneducated baby factories living off the state but want many pregnant teens to have no choice but to leave school and become an uneducated baby factory living off the state.
WTF people?

The 2 young men may not have broken the law, but because the story of what really happened is out, there are still consequences for having a 3 way with a white girl in america. *This is way better then just a few years ago.

This kid had consensual oral sex with no allegation of rape and got 10 years.

Ok, I can see both sides to this. Yeah, initial reaction is "white girl trying to cash in someone else's struggle", but I can see what she's trying to do, it's just really cack-handed.

I hate ventriloquists, I don't think it's a talent, and the profession should have died with Madame. Darci barely counts as one. I see her lips and neck move every time she speaks through her unnaturally clenched open mouth...."stand there with your mouth closed like you always do"...really?! She can't, her mouth is open the whole time. She won for being a cute white girl playing with dolls, imo.

I don't disagree that his response was more than needed, but I don't expect someone who's been taunted and hit repeatedly (and I saw the shove as WAY more than a friendly Elaine style push, and the second hit looked to be to his neck/chin, not shoulder) to think it through and be restrained, but I do agree a good pimp slap may have sufficed....a call to the cops should be the proper response, but it's clear that wouldn't work for him in a white girl vs black man incident in real life.

All that said, I still say that if you start a physical fight and you lose, badly, that's never your victim's fault, it's yours, and genitalia have nothing to do with it (unless someone gets kicked in the balls). I know <100 lb women that brag about getting high and going to bars intending to fight men, and winning those fights. Assuming gender or size makes someone not dangerous is naive.
Edit: note, his first reaction was to walk away from the taunts, and his first reaction to the first shove/hit was verbal, so decking her was technically his second choice, or third depending on how you look at it. ;-)

Let's get this straight. There's clearly a huge problem with racism in the police in the US. It's probably not even a conscious thing on the part of the officers. Study after study has shown that even other black people are more likely to fire on a black suspect than a white one.

The problem is larger than the police, it's cultural. I read a great quote the other day:

When a black man is killed, the media publishes his criminal record. When a white girl is raped, the media publishes her rapist's swim times.

The culture in the US needs to change. Unfortunately, it's heading in the wrong direction right now, as anyone who saw Trump's acceptance speech can attest to.

BUT ...

Treating all cops as killers and racists is no better than treating all black people as criminals. The cops that do this should face the full weight of the law, as should anyone within any ethnic group committing crime (particularly violent crime).

But tarring an entire group because of the actions of it's worst members is the exact same logic that racists use.
