I read a recent review (on HP?) of a midnight premier of this movie in NY. The reviewer said many/most of the 50 or so people that showed up were either reviewers or hecklers. George Lucas clearly lives in a bubble, but it's difficult to believe that at least SOMEONE close to him hasn't told him that his head is up his ass. Then again, JarJar, as well as this 3D release, just may be evidence that he surrounds himself completely with unfailing, spineless sycophants.

@shuac The "this person's taste is up his ass" part is what is bugging me. Arguing about taste or the individual perception of qualities of a movie is kinda pointless - especially on the internet. But nonetheless I find it hardly fair to judge someone's taste in general if you base your argument on your taste aswell.

1. They revolted over a tax CUT, not a tax increase. It's just the East India Trading Co. got one and Americans didn't, making their tea cheaper. Effectively, it put local growers out of business. Sounds like what we do now to pretty much every other goddamn country that we can. NAFTA comes to mind.

Seems very unlikely that any parents would take it so lightly for one son to make the other son into a notoriously embarrassing youtube phenomenon. The 'remote control up his ass' video is enough to make a high school kid drop out and enter a home-schooling program... and this is the FOURTH embarrassing video that the parents have allowed to be put on the internet.

Parents generally have to be at least semi-reasonable in order to maintain an expensive lifestyle like that. (See the truck video for a view outside.)

Also, there's such a large difference in size between the brothers, it seems unlikely the larger one would allow himself to repeatedly be embarrassed so severely by the smaller one.

@alizarin, whether EBM was being racist or not is incidental. Racism is not a windfall to prove guilt. All we know from the video is that the two of them were giving it to each other pretty evenly, and at least the EBM tried to take a seat in the front away the other guy.

Sure, EBM continued to run his mouth, but it wasn't like he kept going to the back of the bus to thump his chest and threaten the guy. He remained seated. It was the other guy who kept going to the front of the bus threatening to stick a foot up his ass.

After that, he took a swing at EBM. It's pretty clear cut.
