If this hadn't ended with so many cops at the guys place, I'd say the news just took aerial footage of a guy commuting home from work one day, and voiced-over some fabricated narrative.

Because he's usually just up with the news helicopter, so his job is normally to do voice-over on traffic situations, describing what he sees.

This is interesting, because these ladies are famous (in Japan) Japanese comedians but I don't think they will actually be doing the voice-overs when the film comes to Japan (won't be out here for months). On the YouTube page for this video, it explains that these ladies are members of the Japanese Ghostbusters' "branch office," implying an international franchise.

This was embarrassing to watch. That voice over. That car. Please, get over yourselves.
