Archer L'Espion Mal Faît
This is funny when you know that all of the characters on Archer are drawn very similar to voice actors that play them, except for Archer. This is the guy who does Archers voice.
Bad Acting From The Last Airbender by M. Night Shyamalan
The story: Shamalan wrote the screenplay after his kids liked the cartoon. However, he decided to make a helluva lot of cuts to the movie to make it more cinematic. He completely neglected a TON of things that made the original great, especially the comedy.
The also tried to change race/element rolls, so instead of traditional Chinese, the firebenders were Indian, which also pissed a lot of people off, because one thing he could have done RIGHT was cast Dante Basco (Rufio, from hook, and the original voice actor of prince zuko) as his respective character.
The names were also mucked up, (Ahh-ng instead of Aang, Soakah instead of Sock-ah) and the overall tone of the movie was god, freaking awful.
It was a double whammy, he made the storyline of a kids cartoon even dumber than it already was (sorry people who love the show, but it is a kids show, they're not meant to make total sense.) and in doing so alienated any parents that went to see the movie with their kids.
And because he changed the storyline so much, he caused fans of the show to hate the movie because of its.. well, bad-ness.
Overall, I end with a quote.

Kid Watches Her Favorite Film
Ok. The voice actor and director are trolls.

Is it just me, or does Mr. Burns' voice actor sound like he's getting lazy?

How encryption works in your web browser
Nice catch. Yet another mistake. I have a feeling the narrator is a hired voice actor and doesn't understand a word he's saying, and nobody in the recording studio that day did either, and nobody reviewed the script/the final cut afterwards.
You only get brownish colours if your mix includes all three primary colours.>> ^spawnflagger:
Anyone else notice that when he is explaining modulus using the clock, that the audio he says 42, but written in the video is 46 ?
Combined with all the other mistakes, this guy should really fix his video...
I like the color example, but usually when you mix 3 colors of paint you just end up with brown.
Louis CK - Schindlers List.
funny thing is, the girl that actually shouted that to the Jews in that Warsaw ghetto that fateful day went on to be a voice actor for Campbell soup...
Only in Nazi Germany!
Robot Chicken: The Rescue (The ULTIMATE Showdown)
>> ^Deano:
Amazing animation but can't let it go to Skillful as it's clearly not a match for the channel.
No problem. I was trying to fit it in as a special for the actual stop-motion animators and voice actors, not the show straight up (since it was the 100th episode and I wanted them to have some recognition somehow). If this was more a documentary showing the skill-set they use to get the job done--and that they do it in unique and very inspiring ways (which if you see the DVD extras they are great at it)--I would assume then that it would be more than fine for your worries. I should have left it unchecked as I did 'love' (same issue there too--they have "gelled" as a team and act more like family, plus they show a genuine love for the job they do--they love going to work and the people there...etcetera..).
Sorry about that @Deano. Next time I'll go with my instinctual reaction.
Robot Chicken: The Rescue (The ULTIMATE Showdown)
I almost put this in the love channel, just for this one-time piece considering it's their 100th episode and the time and effort that goes into their productions. THIS is a proper example of the love and care they put into their job, if enough people feel the same we could add it in, BUT I added it to SKILLFUL as I thought that said what they did more than well enough and also...explained the time and love being put into these efforts.
Kudos to their production staff and crew, their executive staff and assistants, and OF COURSE...ALL of the voice actors over the years which have made this a unique experience to watch! Here's a virtual toast to them and if you can, take a shot in their honor and watch their 100th episode if you haven't AND ESPECIALLY WATCH the Star Wars specials if you have never seen them (SHAME ON YOU!!!).
Some of this is an extension of my information above, but not everyone reads it and I wanted the important bits in.
Athletes As Actors? Gary Oldman Has Something To Say...
I, for one, would like to see Billy West doing a video about actors that aren't voice actors.
I Know That Voice - Trailer v1
John Di Maggio is one of my favorite voice actors. Bender is a favorite but particularly for a character from the game Vampire: Bloodlines where he played 'Smilin' Jack. That game had great voice work and his was particularly good. Anyone who's played the game knows that character as perhaps the most memorable, and John is the reason for that.
Good Books "Metamorphosis"
Opps! Sorry geo.
That voice actor fooled me--does a Great Depp/Hunter.
Mass Effect 3: Take Earth Back - Cinematic Trailer
>> ^entr0py:
It always bugs me how the companies that actually make these great trailers are almost never credited in them. Anyway, this one was made by Digic Pictures.

Things like this always depend on the business agreements/contracts. Same is true for voice actors and who you can and cannot mention; who you can use in advertising and who you can't. Digic did a fantastic job on this one.
