Tesla Towing Silverado Truck Out Of A Charger Station

Payback says...

You're supposed to tow it sideways, with the rope wrapped over the roof at least once. ICE = Inbred Cocksucker Entertainment. Automotive version of InCells.

100% torque at 0rpm makes electric vehicles perfect for towing.

Be sure to deposit any charge station blocking vehicles you move at the proper drop off point on the nearest train tracks.

#WalkAway March - Stacey Dash

newtboy says...

Lol. Suggesting people should walk away towards civility?! But she's pro Trump, the least civil politician in living memory?! *facepalm
And in the next sentence she invites all non republicans to a gun fight? Because, civility. *facepalm
And then again, "You're not going to bully us...... and we have the guns. *Cackle* So cowboy up." (Meaning use those guns to bully some liberals, boys)
The lack of self awareness is appalling.
She doesn't seem to even know that she's their token angry black supporter, to be discarded the moment she fails to tow the party line with proper zeal....ask Amorosa.

Spinning Swing Challenge

oritteropo says...

The yt info is:

Le projet le plus fou de l'été !
Le premier tourniquet tracté par des bœufs en plein milieu d'un lac. Les règles du jeu sont simples sur ce drôle de manège : qui tiendra le plus longtemps !?
Grâce à un système de déclenchement fait avec 2 mousquetons de largage, dès qu'une personne lâche, la corde glisse et l'autre est automatiquement larguée. Au final, la force centrifuge était telle que personne n'a réussi à tenir au delà des 30/35 km/h !

Or, in English:
The craziest project of the summer!
The first ever roundabout (literally turnstile, means something like the rotating swings in children's playgrounds) towed by oxen in the middle of a lake. The rules are simple on this amusing ride: Who will hold on for the longest!?
Thanks to a trigger system made with 2 release carabiners, as soon as a person lets go the other is automatically released.
In the end, the centrifugal force was such that nobody managed to hold on beyond 30/35km/h (approx 20mph in U.S. measures).

Tried to watch it closely, but couldn't figure out how they had it rigged to release the 2nd person once the 1st drops off. Impressive!

Brett Kavanaugh Is a Terrible Judge & a Liar...

newtboy says...

Not confirming her testimony is not the same as refuting it. You can grasp that concept, I assume, or is that beyond you?

You read the report?! I had no idea you were a senator, the only ones who ever get to see it so they can safely lie about what's in it.

You are the one spouting 1/2 truths and pure emotional bullshit.

Towing the Trumpian lie(n) without a shred of fact to back it up, as usual. That's absolutely ridiculous bullshit fantasy, she didn't knowingly destroy her own life over mistaken identity. She is 100% clear on that point.

bobknight33 said:

You live in a delusion world Newt.

No one confirms her testimony Nor any of the other 2.
The FBI report also confirms the same.

Quit listening to hearsay or emotion, Just facts.

Was Ford truthful -- something happened to her but not with Kavanaugh.

I love that they are trying and have admirable goals.

I'm somewhat skeptical about the effectiveness. Presumably some of the data that they are going to collect will include retention rates -- if pieces of plastic of various sizes *enter* the C-shaped area, what percentage of them *stay* there until they can be intentionally removed? Also, how often will they become "full" to an extent requiring a tow to shore and offload operation?

The devices themselves seem like they'd actually be quite cheap to produce. Towing and offloading operations will be expensive, particularly in man-hours. Recycling the collected debris crap into plastic products for resale will be low-yield and unsustainable from a purely capitalistic pricing standpoint -- people will only buy that "merch" as a form of contributing to the project; not because the stuff they make will be competitively priced.

However, none of that makes their endeavor not worth doing/trying. Hopefully their retention rates are good enough (not much plastic or any particular size bracket escapes around / under the devices), and they can make enough through selling merch to fund the offload costs and deploy enough devices to meet their goals!

Finally There Is Bipartisan Agreement: Trump Blew It

newtboy says...

Not exactly.
They have actual evidence that many Kremlin tied agents were involved.
True, they haven't released any evidence proving Putin's personal involvement....yet.... but it's not a bit believable that this enormous government project was done behind his back. He IS personally involved with what his government is doing.

Granted, Mueller did seem to tow the Republican party line building up to Iraq, not with outright lies but by cherry picking reports and minimizing uncertainty but mostly by not correcting Bush, Rice, and Powell, which makes it even less likely he would turn 180 degrees to now outright lie and create evidence out of nothing to oppose his own chosen party, especially knowing it will come out eventually.

Also, it bears noting Mueller didn't have a part in creating any of the multiple reports, both public and classified, accusing Russia of interference, those came from numerous agencies and internal investigations by the businesses involved (like Facebook) AND from our allies intelligence agencies.

Odd, I haven't seen Mueller using any language about Russia, he's not doing interviews or releasing press statements, only indictments that in many cases are followed quickly with guilty pleas, what language exactly are you referring to?

"Witch hunt"....ahhh....so you've tipped your hand, indicating no amount of evidence will ever be enough to convince you because you believe Trump, even when he contradicts himself....except when he tells you there was clear Russian governmental interference, because he finished that sentence by saying "and others", which under a red hat means it doesn't matter, pay no attention to the Vlad behind the curtain....no collusion, no collusion, no collusion...la-la-la-la-la.

Odd, for a witch hunt, they have a whole bunch of convictions and people admitting to witchcraft. That's just not how witch hunts work.

Spacedog79 said:

I feel like I'm in a time warp here.

As far as I understand it that is exactly what they are saying about the Russian hacks too, they have no clear link to the Kremlin. I'm not saying they didn't do it but there is a clear smell of witch hunt going on.

What I find especially galling is Robert Mueller was FBI director at the time of the Iraq war and he was using the exact same language about how clear the evidence for WMDs was.

Luxury Cars & Economy Tows

skinnydaddy1 says...

Right because being a dick is always better than letting someone park their car in your lot for a few mins. if they are not hurting your business or in your way... Far to often there are places that just don't have enough parking spaces and far to often you think you've found a safe space spot with no towing signs. Only to come back and find "new" signs and your car gone.

CrushBug said:

I have to disagree. If that business owns/leases the land, they don't own/lease 90% of the space all the time and 10% during business hours. It is their property. There were signs, since I saw the one guy looking up to see who to call.

These people gambled and lost.

Of Course I'm Trying To Indoctrinate You In My Beliefs

Liberals have been marching loudly past 30 years not tip towing.
So much so a Christian can not show faith at work, they are shamed in public. One could argue the opposite, Its time for Christian to stand up.

Also same to politics. Trump supporters get beaten up, insulted in public. One can't wear MEGA hat to events ( except Trumps) , or Starbucks.. That's not Liberals tip toeing around its full on frontal assault.

Liberals need to stop tip-toeing around the right and stand up for what they believe in.

Luxury Cars & Economy Tows

skinnydaddy1 says...

are the people who are parking there hurting someones business? Is it making it difficult for employees to get in and out? are the businesses even open that late? if not, the tow truck owners are scumbags. towing a few "Luxury" cars does not make up for the fact that 99% of their business is ripping off those that can't afford to get their cars back from being held hostage by these shit stains.

Unexpected

Payback says...

You can see the tow truck was parked a hundred feet away when the camera follows the skater. I'm thinking someone bought a flood damaged car from one of those Texas dealerships that got flooded out and let it roll over the edge. The tow truck was there because they sold it to them as parts "after the movie shoot".

Then again, I have an overactive imagination.
